Once you have created something, you understand so little of the object. To destroy is to understand completely. Never have I fully known how things are put together until you unravel the pieces, pull that loose sweeter string, and follow it until oblivion.
Once I conquer a shadow I know it's strengths and weaknesses. Once you know those you can pick it apart piece by piece. But this new lust, this lust for knowing how it will end. I enjoy it but it is over so soon, leaving me feeling empty, as if a black hole has been opened in my gullet and the only thing that will satiate it is my victories over anything and everything.
I fear for the weak ones, for I know they will not make it to 'morrow.
