I can't shake this feeling. Virgil's been set to his old mind, the distortion caused by father has been erased. But...I feel uneasy. Life should not be corrupted, certainly not the mind. Oberon's order to both Virgil and Renee was excessive. It was unnecessary and unjust. But the sinking feeling remains. I heard Virgil's plans. Where Terridus was excited to hear such brilliance, I was terrified. Something of that magnitude... and how he felt while within the Kaleidoscope, the feeling that something wholly malevolent and powerful was supporting him, something that we just retied the bonds to. We may have made a terrible mistake.
