Dwelling within the kingdom of Ehu'nok, the Thay lived. Peaceful people who once knew the touch of the Thousand Fold god. This idyllic land was not to be forever, but for just a moment in all this eternity there was serenity. The Weave of Forever saw to it that this peace would end however, it was foretold of a time coming. A time when the world would fall upon itself and all things would be torn down. The people of the Thay, wise and patient took these words from the Weave of Forever and with them began to construct for themselves a way to survive this coming disaster, so began the Time of Waiting.

Chapter One: The Times Before

In the Twenty Second year of Waiting, it became know to the Thay that there dwelt among the kingdom of Sai'nok a man whom for those who knew him were to know a traitor. It was born within this ones mind the Seeds of Despair placed there by the Pearled One whose scales shown like the crashing waves of the ocean. The Seeds of Despair warped his mind and shown unto him visions far more perverse than any mortal before them and burned his body and mind until he could no longer remember a time without this warped vision. It was he who corrupted his old friends and made them turn against one another, this led to the first War of Shattered Dreams, when Brother fought Brother and Mind fought Body. All the while the Thay watched and wished that they could help but the Weave of Forever forbid it, for it was not the will of the Thousand Fold god. The War of Shattered Dreams ravaged the kingdom of Sai'nok and though they pleaded for help the Thay remained silent fearing their involvement would disrupt the Time of Waiting and bring forth the Tiae'mon Giaedaeon. Thus the kingdom of Sai'nok fell to its own blood given form. As the War of Shattered Dreams carried on, The Form Given Thought rose from its slumber beneath the Garden of Wells, and bellowed forth to those who knew it from the times before and all fell silent. All of Sai'nok listened to hear The Form Given Thought speak, but all that was heard was a strained cry and the sound of blood pouring from its Mindbody. All Sai'nok wept tears as their founder was wounded and the traitor had escaped.

Chapter Two: The Dream Unfolds

It was during the War of Shattered Dreams that many things within Sai'nok changed some for the better and some for the worse. Though they had been betrayed by one of their own Sai'nok was in no place to do anything about it, the war still raged on and with the Though Given Form wounded many wondered if it was not time to replace their god, perhaps with one that could not be harmed. This cause the war to rage on in even greater ferocity as Sai'nok tore itself further apart.

In Ehu'nok the Thay decided that they needed to act, but they could not do so in force. A census was taken and from it a single name was taken. Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle was sent forth from Ehu'nok to look upon and assist the kingdom of Sai'nok if only to ensure that their war did not consume Ehu'nok as well. When Chennosh arrived in Sai'nok he was greeted by the Sovereign of the Waters Eternal. The Sovereign of the Waters Eternal bestowed upon Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle a gift of a majestic Cith'zah. Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle thanked The Sovereign of the Waters Eternal for his gift and took the majestic Cith'zah and asked what help could he offer to the Kingdom of Sai'nok.

The Sovereign of the Waters Eternal spoke and told Chennosh of his brothers and sisters how even now fought one another over The Form Given Thought. Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle nodded and told the Sovereign of the Waters Eternal that this problem could be solved if the Form Given Though could be healed. To this end Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle taught the Sovereign of the Eternal Waters the healing arts of the Thousand Fold God. Seeing this miracle The Sovereign of the Eternal Waters was pleased and told Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle that he would name his a lord within his court. Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle simply smiled and told the Sovereign of the Eternal Waters that he already had a home in Ehu'nok but that he was grateful.

Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle then took his majestic Cith'zah and rode back to Ehu'nok, as he did he felt the closure of the Form Given Thought's Mindbody and smiled. Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle returned and was welcomed back by the Thay as a hero for he had saved Sai'nok and while the Thay did not like to meddle in the affairs of others it was good to see things resolved.

Chapter Three: Spiraling toward Tiae'mon Giaedaeon

Time flows as water down a river, and Ehu'nok was no exception to this. During The Time of Waiting, many of the Thay began to question The Weave of Forever and if the Thousand Fold God was still listening to their prayers as it had in times of old. The Thay looked out past The Kingdom of Sai'nok and saw what lie beyond for the first time. The Thay saw the Kingdom of Uou'nok and distance and ancient kingdom by the looks of it ruled by many Aethoc. Confused by this, for the Thay did not understand why Uou'nok had not been show to them by The Weave of Forever they cried out for answers. The Weave of Forever answered with a single word, Uoj'epo, he who had fought the Thousand Fold God and had spoken with The Form Given Though and whom it was believe walked down The Pearled One Whose Scales Shown like the Crashing Waves. Most of the Thay did not know what to make of this so they sent Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle forth into the Kingdom of Uou'nok to learn what he could.

Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle rode his Cith'zah forth and ventured to the kingdom Uou'nok and saw that it was peaceful. Though as he wandered from place to place he saw that each Aethoc ruled his own Et'ir. This perplexed Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle, and as Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle looked closer he saw how the Aethoc worked and learned of their power which they derived from immersion in the Never Ending Spiral. Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle saw for the first time how they opened cracks between worlds and watched them throw entire worlds to utter chaos. This disturbed Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle, and he secreted away from Uou'nok and back to Ehu'nok to speak with the Thay. Chennosh of the Three Fold Circle suggested that they leave these people alone as they were mad with power and had no idea how dangerous it was to use the Never Ending Spiral. The Weave of Forever saw this and declared that it was forbidden for any of the Thay to go to Uou'nok until it was deemed safe. Then The Thousand Fold God spoke to The Weave of Forever and The Weave of Forever knew that all would soon come to pass and that Tiae'mon Giaedaeon was not far.
